What is a certified translation?
A certified (or sworn) translation is an officially recognised document drawn up by a translator who has been sworn in at a regional French Court of Appeal (cour d'appel) or the cour de cassation in Paris.
Who might require a certified translation?
A certified translation may be required by certain organisations, for example the French or British authorities, your mairie or a court in France or abroad.
